The whole book is in Clem’s POV and I kept wishing for Ed’s viewpoint. Otherwise, it would have been meh.Īnother thing I want to point out here is that there is no Ed POV in this book. Which is why I liked that the reason why Clem and Ed broke up was kept a secret from the readers. When this character was introduced, I knew this person was the villain – it was really obvious. Of course, one of the things I guessed right was the villain in the book. We basically find out the reason why they broke up as it is revealed to Clem, which I ABSOLUTELY love! Also, it adds a little bit of mystery and I actually liked guessing the reason why they broke up. What I love about this book, though is that we are never given the real reason why they broke up at the start of the book.

But what differentiates this book from others is the twist – Repeat is a second chance romance! Apparently, the heroine Clementine, and the hero Ed broke up a month before the attack on Clementine, which resulted in her amnesia. Yes, it is about a heroine who has retrograde amnesia and basically lost all her memory. And I just want to say that Repeat IS NOT that!

I did not know what to expect when I started reading Repeat and I LOVE it! First, I am not a fan of amnesia romances because it’s just an iffy slope, especially if there is some deception involved.
